There are not even a thousand on the odometer yet, but we have already managed to check the Tiguan in all modes of operation – city, highway, off-road, in all areas it proved to be beyond praise. in the city it is comfort and dynamics. of particular note is the excellent interior ventilation system. in half a minute, climate control (two-zone, by the way) makes normal conditions in the cabin standing in the heat. up to 150 there is complete peace and quiet in the cabin .. only the numbers on the speedometer make you not lose your vigilance in corners .. the suspension is moderately stiff and soft enough, it keeps the track just perfect .. the "smooth descent from the mountain" mode helps off-road – by releasing all the pedals , in neutral, the car gently descends the mountain without letting it accelerate more than 30 km / h ..

I bought used for my wife. Tested by myself before buying. Was surprised by the agility and throttle response of the diesel engine. Super impressions. Suspension moderately balanced, slightly harsh. Consumption is just a bomb (6.5 – 8.6 l / 100 km) in different modes. The automatic box works well. I drive X-Trail 2, 5 CVT, VW dviglo is not inferior to gasoline 2, 5. I am very pleased with the car. There are no squeaks in the cabin, everything is clear! The Germans rule. X-Trail is better for me. because more spacious trunk.

The car was ordered almost complete and was produced in March 2011. Now, with a run of about 5000, there are already first impressions. Firstly, the Tiguan is still a "big Golf", as Volkswagen marketers tried to present it. Secondly, a lot of work has been done to finalize the platform, so the difference with the Golf is more than noticeable. So, in order: The car was made already in 2011 and, unfortunately, fell into the times of total savings, which also affected Volkswagen: some plastic elements (including protective panels in the trunk, an ultrasonic motion sensor in the cabin, a "basket" media -in) are made of cheap Chinese plastic with poor edge processing. Not critical, but spoils the impression. Squeaks are heard periodically (during temperature changes) in the torpedo. The rest of the sound special effects are gone with a run-in. A more serious problem is the inefficiency of the windshield wipers at high speed: they "fly away" without cleaning the bottom of the windows (and the washer flow generally blows left / right). The strange behavior of the ABS is a little unnerving: it periodically intervenes in braking for no apparent reason, although the braking efficiency does not suffer. And the last of the shortcomings noticed is a slightly strange algorithm for the behavior of the adaptive suspension in the "comfort" mode: when some bumps are completely swallowed, it "beats" others; in my opinion, the problem is purely software and can be corrected at subsequent MOT. If we abstract from the above
shortcomings, we get an excellent ride quality: a two-hundred-horsepower turbocharged gasoline engine in combination with a manual transmission gives good dynamics. The system of exchange rate stabilization perfectly keeps the car both in high-speed maneuvering and in sharp braking. When driving on the highway, regardless of the quality of the canvas, the car provokes a speed of at least 140 km / h; with good road quality, it behaves well at speeds of 180 km / h and above. If you "think" a little in the city – the speed immediately "flies" up to 90 km / h. In this configuration, you need to follow the speedometer and not rely on sensations: the habits of the car resemble a sports sedan, but due to the high seating position of the driver and the soft suspension, there is no sense of speed. I bought a Tiguan recently. The car is adorable. Engine 200 hp is a song on the road. Accelerates like a rocket. Already presses into the seat! Road holding is great. Bumps, bumps "hawks" without problems, you practically do not feel these unpleasant things. There are a lot of little pleasures in the cabin: from various lockers, tables and sockets, a hint display, to a huge trunk where you can put large things. The car is equipped with all sorts of electronic things: parking sensors, and off-road, and an electronic handbrake, and a lot of all sorts of differences. Very maneuverable and nimble, if necessary. Well, just an iguana! In winter, I hope there will be no problems with moving on snow: the ground clearance is 20 cm plus a raised front end and full protection of the car from below (the engine is metal, the rest is plastic). I am very pleased with the choice. Before buying studied Subaru Forester and Ford Kuga, but settled on the Tiguan. And I don’t regret it.

Still rolling around. Although, OD said that, in principle, running is not needed. And OD says that the first MOT at 15t.km. I took the car not for 2 years and not for 100,000 mileage, otherwise why take Volks in principle? That is why I run in and I plan to change the oil to 8000. I have seen a lot of leasing company cars, only Skoda can compete with Volks in terms of fault tolerance in harsh operating conditions. Chose between Kuga, Qashqai and Compass. Chose conditionally. all the same, I knew that I would stop at Teague. I really like the conservative interior. Sluggishness and conspicuous decor are not for me. The power unit is a pleasure, if you do not think about the expense. Consumption is appalling. At first, he was nervous. parking brake. Now, it seems to be like getting used to it. Oil is not eating yet. But I do not force the engine. The salon heats up very quickly. After 3-5 minutes, warm air begins to enter the cabin, after 6-7 minutes, the engine temperature rushes to the nominal value. (Taking into account -15 overboard, when warming up in the engine at low-medium speeds, as stated in the manual). So far, I haven’t got stuck in any snowdrift, and there wasn’t even a hint. The suspension is stiff. (This is a plus for me). Noise level. Not so that nothing is heard at all, but just enough so as not to be disconnected from what is happening outside.

Good afternoon! The machine is good. Good engine. Average consumption 11 liters. Good running qualities. Noise isolation for 4 balls. Before these was Kia Sorento-noise isolation on it is not worse. But German cars are not so perfect. From the very beginning of operation, a knock appeared in the rear of the cabin. Three times went to the service, could not determine the cause. In the end, it was determined that it was the rear right shock absorber. But at the same time, they said that this is such a feature of the Tiguan car, and in frosts of -15 and above, shock absorbers can knock. Although now -1 knock continues. I had to contact the representative office of Porsche Ukraine – the importer of wolksvagen cars, where they said that everything would be fixed. Now for the second week I have been waiting for a shock absorber (out of stock). It’s amazing!! Such are the things. It seems like a new car, but an unpleasant aftertaste from the quality and most importantly the service. Maybe I’m so lucky.
